A small peshtemal, the traditional Turkish towel, with stripes woven in and a fringe knotted by hand. Light and quick drying, for the guest bath, the gym bag or the pool.

The traditional hammam cloth and the original Turkish towel. Thin, quick drying and surprisingly absorbent, with a fringe knotted by hand.

  • 100% Turkish cotton, woven in Denizli, Turkey
  • Wash warm before first use, with similar colors
  • Tumble dry low or line dry, and shake out the loops before folding
  • Avoid bleach, which weakens and fades any cotton

Why no fabric softener? Softener coats the fibers with a waxy film. The towel feels slippery rather than soft and absorbs far less water. Good cotton does not need it.
