Our story
Inspired by Bodrum. Woven in Turkey.
Pamuk is the Turkish word for cotton. We make Turkish towels the way we grew up with them: generous, honest and built to last.
Why Pamuq exists
A towel from home
Pamuq was started by a founder who grew up on Turkey's Aegean coast, where a good towel is part of every summer day: on the beach, after the hammam, folded on a chair by the sea. Pamuq brings that towel, and that feeling, to American homes.

Bodrum and the Aegean
The summers that shaped us
Bodrum sits where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean: white houses, blue shutters, a castle above the harbor and the long, warm light of a Turkish summer. It is where our colors come from, from Salt and Sandstone to Aegean blue, and the slow kind of life our towels are made for.

The workshop
Woven in Denizli, Turkey
Our towels are woven by a family workshop in Denizli, Turkey, a region that has woven cloth for generations. They weave to order rather than to a warehouse, finish every hem by hand, and check each towel before it is folded and sent.
