- Tumble dry low or line dry, and shake out the loops before folding
- Avoid bleach, which weakens and fades any cotton
Why no fabric softener? Softener coats the fibers with a waxy film. The towel feels slippery rather than soft and absorbs far less water. Good cotton does not need it.
